Outdoor Movies in the Summertime

It’s summertime and that means it’s time for outdoor movies!  This year we went ahead and made a screen and it turned out great and it was fairly inexpensive as well.

Below is a list of the supplies needed:
9×6 canvas drop cloth
Four 2″x1″x10″ boards
Two large utility buckets
Two bags of play sand

Putting it together is fairly simple — nail the boards together to make the farm and then we stapled the canvas to the boards.  Make sure that you fill your buckets 75% full of sand.  If it is a little bit windy, the frame will start to sway.

That’s it!  Easy peasy!

Hershey’s Chocolate Nugget Valentine Mailbox

Hi friends!

Today I am going to show you how you can make this adorable little mailbox using a Hershey’s chocolate nugget bar just in time for Valentine’s Day.

Stampin' Up!

I used all Stampin’ Up! products to make this little mailbox.

You will need Red Rose card stock cut into a  3″ x 1 1/4″ piece and a piece of Love Blossoms DSP cut into a 3″ x 1″ piece.  Adhere the DSP to the top of the solid card stock and then wrap around the chocolate nugget.  Glue dots work perfectly for attaching the paper to the chocolate nugget.   Next, cut a piece of red rose card stock 1 3/4″ x 1 and round the corners on one end.  Glue this piece to the bottom of the nugget.  Next cut a piece of  1/8″ x 1 1/4″ of Red Rose card stock.  This will be the lever for your “heart” flag.  You will need to punch a tiny circle (I used the circle from the owl punch) out of Red Rose card stock also.  I then punched out two hearts (using the owl punch) in whisper white card stock.  Add all of these little pieces to the mailbox as shown in the picture above.

If you’d like to order any of the above items stop make some mailboxes, you can do so over at wdiem.stampinup.net.
