GRADUATION TIME CONTINUED

Happy Friday!  It’s 80 degrees and sunny here in Hershey, Pennsylvania! I am LOVIN’ every bit of the sunshine.

Hershey Park opens this weekend!  Yippee!   From now until September the Hershey residents will be sharing the roads with the many visitors that come to see the sweet town that Milton Hershey built.   Drive safely everyone — PLEASE put your cell phones down and pay attention to the roads.  Let’s keep everyone safe!

In keeping with my graduation theme, I made some graduation cards yesterday and just posted them in my artfire shop (scrappybags.artfire.com)   I will leave you some quick pictures of them.  There will be more to come!

Happy weekend everyone!  Enjoy your family time.

Graduation Time!

It’s that time of year again.  Where does the time go?  I can’t believe we are coming up on the end of another school year.  Our parents were correct when they told us that time flies when your children are in school!  I cannot believe it, but I will have a middle schooler next year.  I’m not sure that I am ready to move forward to the middle school years,  especially since we will have to get up one whole hour earlier!  Anyway, on the other end of the school years, it’s graduation time!  Some of you may have or know of some children that are graduating this year.

I love to scrapbook and one of my specialities is making mini paperbag scrapbooks.  These scrapbooks are made from three paperbags.  I fold the paperbags in half and sew them together for extra durability.  A scrapbook has 12 pages, plus 3 pockets to tuck those extra pictures or treasures.  That’s where graduation comes in.  Below I have some pictures of a mini paperbag scrapbook that I have made to store some fun pictures from graduation or their senior year.

I have a shop at scrappybags.artfire.com where you can check out some of my other creations.  I also make cards from paperbags.  If you would like to order a paperbag scrapbook for your graduate just leave me a comment and I will get back to you.  I can also personalize the scrapbook with your specific school colors to make it more special.
