HANDMADE CARDS AT THE LIBRARY

Hello there!  It’s a beautiful (?) rainy day here and the 30 inches of snow that we got recently is quickly melting away!

I’m here today to share my card that I made with the library ladies this week.
What I Love by Stampin' Up!

The inspiration for this card comes from fellow Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator, Lisa Pretto.  This card is made with the  What I Love set that you can get FREE with a $50 purchase from Stampin’ Up! during Sale-a-Bration.  Very Vanilla, Soft Sky and Lost Lagoon and Crumb Cake are the colors used for this beautiful card.

If you’d like more details on how I made this card, comment below and I will be happy to send you the scoop!

MINI COFFEE CUP TREAT

Hello friends!  Today I have a cute little mini coffee cup treat to share with you. I must give credit to Erica Cerwin, a fellow Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator, for sharing this on her blog Pink Buckaroo Designs.   I’ve handed these out to all of my Valentine’s Day stamp class attendees.  Aren’t they adorable?  I’ve added the tutorial for you below!

Coffee Cup Treat Valentine's Day

Supplies needed:
Solid color card stock (Rose Red from Stampin’ Up!)
Patterned card stock (Love Blossoms DSP from Stampin’ Up!)
Mini 4 oz. coffee cups and lids
Sweetheart punch (Stampin’ Up!)
1 3/4” scalloped circle punch
1” circle punch
TomBow liquid glue
Adhesive of your choice

Note: You can purchase the 4 oz. mini coffee cups online at
https://www.therestaurantstore.com/items/41209 and the lids at
https://www.therestaurantstore.com/items/24592

Rose Red card stock:
cut at 2 1/2” x 11”
score at 4 1/2, 7, 7 3/4 and 10 1/4

Coffee Cup Treat Valentine's Day

Punch a 2” circle as shown below.

Next, fold at all of the score lines and then add adhesive to the end section and fold up to attach and make in to the cup holder.

Love Blossoms Paper:
cut one piece at 1/2” x 2 1/4

cut one piece at 3 1/2” x 2 1/4”

trace cup template for outside of cup (the best way to make a template for the cup is to take one of the cups apart carefully and then use that for your template.

You will adhere the smaller piece of Love Blossoms card stock to the front of the cup holder and the larger piece to the back of the cup holder (see picture above).
Using the template that you made from one of the cups, trace and cut out a piece of the Love Blossoms paper.  Attach this to the outside of the cup using TomBow liquid glue.  I found that the liquid glue worked the best for me.

Next decorate the top of the lid as you wish. This is what I did:
I punched a 1 3/4” scalloped circle in the solid card stock and 1” circle in the patterned card stock.

I also punched two hearts in coordinating colors using the sweetheart punch from Stampin’ Up! I also made two flags in coordinating colors and stamped yum on the one flag.

I filled my special little cups with Hershey kisses!  Hope you enjoy!
