Sympathy Card

Hello stamping friends!  Sympathy cards — not my favorite, but we all need them occasionally!  This is a card that I made with my library ladies a few weeks ago.  This is not the greatest picture for you, but I had to take it at while at the library, because I had one of the carmakers come in at the end of class and they were too late to make the cards.   I ended up selling my samples to them. It was a win-win!

These are the supplies that I used to make this quick and easy card:

Stamps:  Number of Years stamp set
“With Sympathy” comes from a past Paper Pumpkin Kit
Paper:     Whisper White card stock
Ink:          Night of Navy
Cucumber Crush

Outdoor Movies in the Summertime

It’s summertime and that means it’s time for outdoor movies!  This year we went ahead and made a screen and it turned out great and it was fairly inexpensive as well.

Below is a list of the supplies needed:
9×6 canvas drop cloth
Four 2″x1″x10″ boards
Two large utility buckets
Two bags of play sand

Putting it together is fairly simple — nail the boards together to make the farm and then we stapled the canvas to the boards.  Make sure that you fill your buckets 75% full of sand.  If it is a little bit windy, the frame will start to sway.

That’s it!  Easy peasy!
